Upon graduation, Kristin danced professionally for 15 years. She toured nationally and internationally, and always practiced pilates during her tours to feel better. Becoming a certified pilates teacher has fulfilled both her love of movement and helping others feel their best.
Kristin became a certified classical comprehensive teacher, completing over 450 hours of training, through second generation teacher Marcie Callen in Pittsburgh, PA. Marcie is trained in the traditions of Joe's elders, Lolita San Miguel and Eve Gentry. Kristin is also a certified & licensed Rollologist. Developed by Alyson Limehouse, a second generation teacher also trained under Lolita. Kristin Bucci has also completed educational workshops in osteoporosis and scoliosis with Sonje Mayo and biomechanics and pilates with Shari Berkowitz. Kristin most recently completed The Vertical Workshop's teacher training mat seminar, with Shari.
She enjoys teaching around the Pittsburgh area such as Pilates Day Pittsburgh, Point Park University's summer dance program, and supporting other pilates studios in the surrounding Pittsburgh area, when they are in need.
Kristin is happily married and is a proud mother of two.
